FINANCIAL POLICIES
We ask for payment at the time of registration. We do offer PayPal to help parents get reward miles and/or finance their payments flexibly with a credit card. GENERAL EXPECTATIONS
We acknowledge individual differences but expect our summer school students to work cooperatively with teachers and classmates. We do not have a counseling staff in the summer and focus on academic need. Our program is for students with learning differences or children who struggle in school academically. We are not able to serve students with serious behavioral or emotional challenges, or students who cannot work in a learning community.
Please make an honest and thoughtful choice in this area. If we cannot serve your student once the program has begun, we regret that we will not be able to refund tuition. We reserve the right to exclude, at any time, a student whose conduct, influence or behavior is deemed harmful to the best interests of the program or its participants, or whose financial obligations have not been met. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask for clarification.
SUMMER HOURS OF OPERATION
Edison is a closed campus and students will be supervised at all times while on campus. Parents should drop their students off no earlier than 8:15 a.m. Please pick your student up by 12:15 p.m. (morning only) or 3:15 p.m. (morning + afternoon enrichment). If your student will leave campus independently after school, please let us know in advance.
The Edison Middle School Summer Program is an equal-opportunity school. We do not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, religion, color, sexual orientation, or national or ethnic origin in the hiring of staff, administration of educational policies, student admissions, financial aid, or other school-related programs.

"My student's progress in your summer school program improved her writing and reading skills. Your reading teacher helped me by modeling truly motivating compliments. She kept saying, 'Your daughter works really, really hard!' My student was nearly in tears with gratitude for having someone take notice of her. What a watershed time last summer was!"
