Edison High School's tuition supports a unique educational experience for students with learning differences. In addition to our own dedicated and uniquely qualified teachers, small class sizes, and programs to support each student's individual learning needs, Edison High School students also have access to an expansive range of co-curriculars through our long-standing partnership with Jesuit High School next door.

Families may choose between three different payment plans that best fit their financial circumstances.
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment
What is FACTS?
FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is an independent, third-party company that conducts a financial analysis to determine a family's financial need. Edison High School receives a confidential report outlining your financial situation based on the information obtained from your application and supporting tax documents. Requests for financial aid are independently reviewed by FACTS. After all applications have been considered, FACTS makes their award recommendations based on the total available scholarship money. Edison High School then contacts each family who applied to let them know the results of the assessment and financial award information, if applicable.
Deadline to Apply
The deadline to apply for financial aid is January 12, 2024 and is determined by FACTS.
Families who apply after the deadline may not be eligible to receive financial aid for the 2024-25 school year.

How many Edison families receive financial aid?
Approximately 30% of Edison families receive some level of financial aid.
Will it hurt our child's chances of being admitted if we apply for financial aid?
Edison follows a "need-blind" admissions policy. We do not take your family's financial situation into consideration when weighing your student's application for admission. However, admission is not a guarantee that you will receive financial aid.
Are the admission process and financial aid processes combined or independent of one another?
The two processes are completely independent.
Is the financial aid application confidential?
All details contained within the financial aid application are held in confidence.
How is "demonstrated need" determined?
The Edison financial aid committee contracts with FACTS. FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment is an independent, third party company that conducts financial analysis to determine your family's financial need. They provide an assessment of the ability of each family to pay for tuition based on a number of factors: the family's online application; the parent's income and assets; tax returns; mortgages; debt; number of children; special circumstances; single income providers; etc. Edison receives a confidential report outlining your financial situation based on the information obtained in your application and supporting tax documents.
What is the deadline for the application process?

How and when will we be notified about admission and financial aid awards?
Admissions decisions and financial aid offers will be made in mid-March. Families must officially accept admission and financial aid offers in April.
Why do we have to supply such personal confidential information?
By supplying all information requested, FACTS can provide a more accurate assessment of the family's ability to pay for their student's education.
If a family does not supply the information requested, the application may delayed, and the family may not receive any funding for the student's tuition.
If we turn in the application late?
Families who apply after the deadline will not be eligible to receive financial aid.
What if parents are separated or divorced?
We take into account that both parents have a financial obligation to contribute to their child's educational expenses. FACTS considers the assets and income of both natural parents. If either parent has remarried, the income of the stepparent will be considered as well.
Is there a tuition discount for siblings?
We do not offer sibling discounts. The cost of sending multiple children to private school is taken into consideration when assessing a family's demonstrated need through FACTS.
Do I have to fill out an application each year that I apply for aid?
Yes, families must reapply for financial aid each year.
Does our family have to repay financial aid?
No, financial aid does not need to be repaid.
However, we hope that recipients of financial aid will donate back to Edison High School, to help other students and families who have a similar need, if they are able to do so at any point in the future.
What are my chances of getting financial aid?
In 2023-24, Edison awarded over $660,000 in financial aid. However, each year we receive more requests than we are able to award. We encourage all families who are in need of financial aid to complete an application and to be in dialogue with the school.
